WWII German Kriegsmarine Long Range Radio - Bring back by US GI from Submarine
Interesting piece of WWII history here. We bought this from a retired Aerospace Engineer that worked with the original GI that supposedly captured this at the end of the war from a German Submarine Base and shipped it home as a war trophy. This radio would have been used to receive the encrypted messages that were input into the famous Enigma Machine.
It is in good shape and actually has a wiring diagram with it that he was able to track down at some point.
The serial number is on the front, so if anybody has any specific info on which sub this particular radio was originally installed in please email us as we would really like to know the history of this item. Thanks
