Description
You are bidding on a 100% ORIGINAL and RARE 24V Luftschraube Motor (Propeller Pitch Motor), 9-14501 G-1. This was used specifically in the DB605 A thru D Engines. This was found at the remains of WNF DIANA.This motor controlled the Pitch of the Propeller, allowing the pilot to have superb engine management. Though the Me109 was usually set for Auto Propeller Pitch, the pilot could manually change the pitch with a thumb switch on the side of this unit.
This motor is of late-war production and is in VERY NICE unused condition.
It is a bit dirty, however it retains 98% of it's original
finish, and the data plate is 100% complete, clearly indicating 9-14501 G-1. Having a total weight of approx. 8lbs., this would be a FANTASTIC set for any collection, engine restoration, or project!
Please note that I have many of these, the one you receive may look slightly different than the one depicted in the photos.
Please email me if you need additional photos or information.

------------------- ABOUT ME -----------------
Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
