WW II German Aircraft Wendehorizont - HORIZON - Me109 Fw190 - FOR PARTS

You are bidding on a VERY NICE example of 100% ORIGINAL WW2 German Luftwaffe Wendehorizont (Turning Horizon), Fl. 22411-1!  This type of horizon was commonly used in the Me262, Fw190, Me163, Ho229, and others!
This instrument measured the turn angle and side-slip of the aircraft, relayed the current horizon. It was connected to the main electrics (Umformer) and was located on the main instrument panel on many German fighters.
Made of aluminum, this horizon dates around 1944, and would have been used right up until the end of the war.
95% with no major damage, but does feature some marks and wear.  Sadly, it is not complete, so it would only be good for parts of restoration  Includes the original plug and wiring.
Locking mechanism functions PERFECTLY.  I cannot remove the housing, but both gyroscopes appear to be there.  Sold AS-IS.  Would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection, restoration project, or panel re-build!
