Made by the artist who uses the AE in a heart mark, those of you that have had the luck of owning a piece by this artist know just how exceptional her objects are. It has been documented that this artisan worked with Estela Popowski and Rancho Alegre according to Hougart's book on Mexican marks but no one has been able to document who she is, but I do know the objects I've had from her are quite wonderful!
This is a nice pair of pretty earrings in sterling silver featuring natural amethysts and closing with screw backs. One stone has a crack and a small chunk missing.  You might want to replace or just wear them as they are - it really wouldn't be noticeable. These could also be converted into pendants.  Circa 1940s.  Attractive!
