Simons Liberty Bell Sterling Thimble 1976 US Bicentennial

Description

This is a wonderful vintage 1976 American Bicentennial Liberty Bell sterling silver thimble from Simons. The patriotic sewing tool features the words “Proclaim liberty in the land to the inhabitants by order of the assembly of Pennsyl. In Phil’a 1752” against a dark patinaed background. The date number 76 also appears with a pair of stars.
Size: I see no size markings.
Measurements: hint over 3/4” high, 11/16” wide across the inside of the finger hole.
Markings: stamped inside the apex with the Sterling Silver Simons logo.
Excellent condition with a mere hint of wear.  Hard to reach tarnish.
