Very rare and infrequently offered for sale, the 1844 Gold Half Eagle in Choice or higher condition has only appeared in auctions 13 times in the last 20 years, and an NGC in Choice condition just two times in the last 16 years.  The example we offer is in Choice Uncirculated condition and among just 13 graded at this level by NGC (9 in 63, 4 in 63+).  PCGs has graded six in 63, five in 64 and just one each in 64+ and 65.  The coin we are pleased to offer has been held in one of our customer's private collection for more than a decade.  Ideal for an advanced collector or registry set.

Shipping Policies
We only ship to confirmed Paypal addresses if using Paypal. This is for our mutual protection and keeps costs down for both of us. Shipments are normally shipped next day. Please note I can't control the US Postal Service delivery times. All I can do is hold up my end of the bargain and ship next day.
Non-Paying bidders
You bid is a contract and commitment to pay. I expect payment within 3 days of the auction. If you need a few extra days, I would appreciate an e-mail giving me a heads up. If you do not pay within 7 days, I will report the sale to E-Bay as a non-paying bidder. I have to hold coins and turnover is slower, costing everyone money and time.
